$40 Million Amazon Web Services (AWS) Health Equity Initiative Selects EdLogics to Advance Health Equity

Health equity proponents are lauding today’s announcement by EdLogics, a Virginia-based digital health communications and consumer engagement company, that it has been chosen by Amazon Web Services (AWS) Health Equity Initiative to be part of the AWS $40 million, three-year commitment to support organizations working to reduce health disparities and advance health equity.

EdLogics will team up with non-profit Global Action Platform jointly launched Healthier757, a collective impact initiative promoting free access to essential health information via its Rewards for Healthy Living platform across the Hampton Roads region.

This platform, powered by AWS cloud technology, is used by non-profit organizations, municipalities, academic institutions, and employers to enhance health literacy, encourage positive health behaviors, improve health outcomes, and reduce healthcare costs.

AWS seeks to address global health inequalities, expand access to essential services, and improve individual health outcomes regardless of socioeconomic status, ethnicity, race, or neighborhood.

Accordingly, AWS offers credits and specialized technical expertise to selected organizations worldwide that utilize AWS services to improve health outcomes and health equity through its Health Equity Initiative.

The support from AWS will enable Healthier757 to boost health literacy and workforce productivity, strengthening the economy and powering broader embracement of health equity in the months and years ahead.
