Executive Team

Emily is Research Director at Strong Heroes. In this role, Emily covers research in health equity for the Strong Heroes global editorial team. In her high school, Emily is the health and sciences editor of the school’s newspaper. Emily also is engaged in research at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. She volunteers at her local Chinese school and nursing home, interacting with its students and residents, and enjoys playing the piano. 

Emily’s deep commitment to the work of Strong Heroes has been driven by her passion for making an impact on children’s health, children’s hospitals, and broader health outcomes particularly for traditionally marginalized and underrepresented populations.
