DESCRIPTION:The 2nd Annual Child Health Equity Summit will focus on several Health Equity topics and will offer the following to participants: \n\nProvide attendees with an interactive\, multi-day format designed to foster open dialogue and engagement.\nIntroduce community members with lived expertise in the topic.\nFacilitate drafting a strategic plan to address the adverse social determinants of health in Worcester and beyond.\nEstablish a new Community Advisory Board to guide multi-sector partnerships aimed at driving child health equity advancement.\nEngage attendees in Identifying metrics to track progress.\n\n\n\n\n\nBecome a passionate voice for confronting the adverse social determinants of health\, including poverty and racism\, faced by children in our community. These adverse social determinants of health lead to disparities over the lifetime. \nLearn interactively how multi-sector partnerships can help mitigate the root causes of health inequities\, and acquire the information and tools necessary to strengthen relationships and develop mutually beneficial partnerships.
