Strong Heroes Donates Thousands of Toys in Health Equity Drive

As part of the Strong Heroes continued dedication to both spreading awareness of health inequities and educating the public on how to best address them, we have begun a monthly blog regarding policy, research, and our own work on the matter. While this first blog will be exclusively dedicated to the organization itself, we will expand our reach and content in the future.

Strong Heroes recently conducted a toy drive in which we were able to collect 3,300 toys. We then took these toys to various children’s hospitals, thereby providing children in the area with a moment of joy in the midst of their hospital stays. The drive was definitely a success, and we look forward to planning similar events in the future.

Given the recent start of the academic year, Strong Heroes has been focused on expanding its volunteer network throughout local high schools. We have been presenting to English classes, speaking to community leaders, and reaching out to students directly in an effort to further our impact.

As always, Strong Heroes is seeking opportunities and volunteers to help with our efforts. Reach out if you are interested in joining and working with us!
